  Come to Tightfisted Tuesdays! Our first event will take place on September 2nd from 6pm to 9pm at Tightfisted Fashion, 2114 N Charles St Baltimore MD 21218. Be prepared for fun, fashion, refashion and crafting. Bring in your photos, magazines, old purses, old t-shirts, old jewelry, memories, hopes and dreams to be refashioned into vision boards! Counselors and artists will be on deck to help you realize and your vision. **Note: $7.00 fee covers cost of supplies, snacks and drinks. Guests who do not wish to participate in the crafting or feasting will not be charged. 30 Under 30       I have been grinding hard this year trying to get my business off the ground that I've neglected the simple pleasure of writing and blogging. I've been thinking a lot about what I want for myself. After taking a homebuyer's class, I feel really empowered and focused. I know how to navigate the scary home buying and credit repair processes and I am making plans to succeed. the most important thing for me to do at this point is to make/retain more money to pay off my debt, whilst saving money for the house. My plan is to cut back on life's excesses and to enjoy the simple things. I look at my friends, family and classmates and I think they are so accomplished. The irony is, they often look at me as if I am more accomplished! I guess it is because we sometimes forget to cherish the talents, the blessings and the strides we've made in our own lives.  More than making money, what I enjoy most about vending is the networking, the shopping and the vibe with guests, organizers and fellow vendors. I learn so much from these events and a always have a great time. In 2014 I hope to be hosting some of these events for myself and building my brand, but I am grateful to the talented ladies who make these things happen.
