Christmas--NYE

Image
One celebration rolls right into another. First Christmas, then New Years. Can hardly believe how fast this year has passed, how much I've been through and how much I've been blessed! In 2012, I've been in and out and all around someone I really care about....and it felt great. I have launched my new business, Tightfisted Fashion. Also, I've had some professional opportunities\assignments that I am happy about. Finally, I have re-committed myself to my faith. I know this is usually the time where people make resolutions to change things/habits; however, I just want to focus on continuing the things I have done well this year. So, in 2013, I want to take my business to the next level, grow closer to God and perhaps find someone worthy to share New Years with next year. My pale friend has called dibs if no one else steps up haha...shm :) Meet 1/2 of the: Cool Kids United Camp Posse Clique Crew (lol) Welcome to 2013 Support good busin

Stop the Madness!

I have had a very trying weekend and its spillage into the week is just testing my patience and my faith. First off, I just CAN NOT get over what has happened to our youth in Newtown, Ct.; it is absolutely APPALLING!! The hot-button issues that have stemmed from that tragedy are: gun control, child safety, domestic terrorism, mental illness etc. I would argue that the major issue is that we are so disconnected from one another because we are self-centered and apathetic. Likewise, sociopaths lack emotion, are highly intelligent, intense, self-serving and delusional. Forget your meds and machines, there is no "cure" for that kind of behavior. Case and point, I had my own sister tell me just this weekend "I have no emotional connection to any of you (family members)" with the straightest facial expression. Yes, he same sister who I would throw myself in front of a train for, the same sister who I practically raised, the same sister living in a nice big house, attendi

Skating fun and some

My homegirl decided to do a skating party to celebrate her birthday. Sometimes you have to go back in time to have adult fun :) Oh course, I was tardy to the partay...but I had a good time with my friends and watched them skate and live out their childhood times. Merry Gifting For the holidays, I decided to go back in time also and create a family tree for my dad. There are some amazing and creative to do this. Here are some cool ideas below. Ultimately, I went for a simplistic method, photo album/scrapbook.
