Ladies Tea Party

Ladies Tea Party

Be-autiful :D

How do you prepare an amazing ladies tea party...?
Do something different to create a recipe for success.

I had the best ladies tea party this weekend!

We had delicious food, played games, had mini contests, crafted something cool, fellowships without the drama and enjoyed being a woman.

I invited some friends of mine with businesses and hired a massuer to help my guests relax. We sipped tea (of the Long Island variety hehehe) and took pictures.

I got to see friends I haven't seen in years and meet new ones that I hope to keep in touch with.

Be supportive: Invite your entreprenuer friends to introduce your guests to their new ventures, network and build capital.

Be easy: Invite a massuer for a relaxing massage or a nail technition to do manicures and pedicures for your guests.

Be fancy: Ask your favorite consultant to showcase her health and beauty items...jewelry by Traci Lynn or makeover skills  with Mary Kay makeup

Be creative: We made paper hats using paper plates, silk flowers, jewels and ribbon. I also found some cool random black and white photos of women from the internet displaying different emotions and attitudes and we placed them in shadow boxes, mason jars and frames we designed.

Be positive: This activity is called "What I see in You"
This exercise is designed to build positivity among women to see the best in one another.
Start by looking at your partner--paying attention to their features, their clothes, hair, personality, aura etc...and make a positive analysis of the person.
For example: You see the young woman in the red/orange dress...here is what I said about her...
I see a woman with short highlighted hair--to me she seems confident and comfortable in her skin. Her pearls indicate that she may be a little bougie (lol) and elitist. The short dress and asymetric line may mean that she's a risk-taker and fashionable.
Be fun: play some games to give the party some energy. We played a game called "Rooms". You start by writing a bunch of random places on index cards. You ask the someone to pick 2 rooms/locations. Then you think of some objects that you would find in the first location and think of intersting ways you could use that object in the next location.
For example: You might find nail glue in a salon...you could use it to fix a broken cabinet in the kitchen.
